Find your voice – Find yourself

More individualized than a choral setting;

More collaborative than private lessons.

Singers’ Workshops provides an extremely unique opportunity to work with a nationally recognized voice specialist and graduate professionals at the forefront of the music education field, participate in community service opportunities, and perform in premiere venues.

Enrollment is limited in order to provide individualized instruction to every student. The small ensemble setting that Singers’ Workshops provides is a more collaborative experience than private lessons and a more individualized experience than a choir setting, allowing Singers’ Workshops’ to tailor instruction to each student’s needs, interests, and well-being.

Scholarships are available. No Audition Required.

Singers’ Workshops @ Teachers College (TC), Columbia University is designed to assist young singers (ages 11-17) develop their vocal, musical, and communicative capabilities.  Aside from the fun of singing with peers, our participants perform in professional venues, participate in community service opportunities, and receive training from a nationally-recognized voice instructor with a team of professional vocal educators.

Developed by Singing Voice Specialist, Jeanne Goffi-Fynn, these programs grew out of a partnership with Every Voice Choirs, a not-for-profit music program at Columbia University. Singers' Workshops encourage healthy development of singing voices in various repertoire with positive and engaging performance opportunities.  Dr. Goffi-Fynn directs three workshops: Audition Prep in the fall, Music Theatre in the spring, and Young Men’s throughout the yearAuditions are not required, although, a commitment to attendance and practice are expected.
